Hi, I am wanting to build a DAW for home studio recording.
I have a budget of £750 and would like to know what components would be best to suit my needs whilst being stable and reliable also.
I will be needing advice on CPU, Motherboard, RAM, HDD and Soundcard.

Danneh88, welcome to RO.

Have you read any reviews on the components you need? Most of us here would be willing to review you choices, but if you want to build yourself, it is best you do some research yourself first.

I did that by looking at PC review sites like Silent PC and Anandtech, DAW-sellers, PC-webshops, lurking around here on RO etc. There's a sticky here in the DAW's & Computing where we brag about our DAWs. Look into the builds there. You will start to recognize some components after a while.

Much depends on your needs, budget and the software you're planning to use. Figure that out and then go look for your components. It isn't hard to build something useful for your budget, you just have to choose carefully regardless of your budget.

Good luck!
