Hello,
Let us verify how many users down here use a digital board, no matter if it is just as a controller for your main daw ( Pro Tools, Nuendo, Logic, Sonar, etc), as a source of additional mic preamps, summing, etc.
I myself have been using digital boards since late 1997 and I still think that scene memories to flip quickly bettwen different projects/clients is still a cool idea, even for live performances. Also, I do not sum ITB.
So, let us see what you guys have been thinking.
Thanks
Nice week

OK, thanks for explaining. I have mine since late 2004 but only summing ITB since last january. I use the remote layer as a controller.
I can use the 01v96's FX section as an external FX unit during mixdown, but have not experimented with it yet. I do use internal FX and EQ in the monitoring during tracking, but still record only the dry un-EQed signal through a direct out on mLAN.
Also with Studio Host, I can easily reintegrate the Yammie back into the homestudio after a gig and recall any settings I need. Try that with an analog board.

I use a 01v96v2 for my own band and as front end in my home studio where it controls Cubase SX. It is also my outboard soundcard when I just play WMP stuff.
What's that?
