I am currently using a Belkin OmniView SE 4 port KVM switch to control my DAW and a 2nd computer which I use for internet surfing and office apps. I want to use two monitors with the KVM switch. I have seen a splitter which boasts and splits the VGA signal at http:// Would it work for my application? The office app computer has an ATI Rage card, the DAW has a Matrox G550 card. Does anybody have experience with this or have a workable solution? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about not getting back to you on that one. I use two monitors as well and share three to four systems with them...but I have the second monitor constantly hooked up to my audio machine since I don't need dual monitors on the other machines! Makes no sense to have it hooked up to the KVM taking up a port when I don't need it!
I have a 4 port Belkin that works wonders...hit Scoll Lock twice and the number of the machine you want to go to and poof...you're there!
