I chose the older version (BM6A) over the BM6A MKII. For those interested, I based my decision on the original BM6A having Mosfet power, higher crossover point, price being higher reflects better build and older is better when it comes to speakers plus... global economics, more China parts and labour being used today including cut backs always give me the willies these days. Figured I was lucky to find a company that had both in stock.
I read there have been some tweeter issues cutting out from a loose connector. Any tips on dealing with this when it presents itself?
One way conversation, hehe. ... but still fun. My BM6A's arrived today! ya! Breaking them in as we speak. Love em.
Got them from Steve @ Russo Music . Thanks Steve, you Rock!
Have fun breaking in of your new members of the family.
Do you know the German word for getting a speaker run in?
Einschwobbeln
I love this word.....lol..
Although, it is a more technical term for feeding a signal of various levels and frequencies to a single speaker for hours / days before you put it in the box.
