Hey,
Is there a way to set up the output of the patchmix (line outs on EMU 1212) so that they contain only signals from my cakewalk, and not from the EMU 1212 inputs? So far, I have not been able to take the physical inputs to the EMU 1212 out of the patchmix monitor mix.

Not sure what or why your trying to do what your doing, but you can mute the inputs on each input strip that would stop audio from going to the main mix. You can also use one of the inserts on your PCI card input strip and then route that to any output that is available.
Patchmix is a virtual mixer, it is designed to mix all signals into the main mix outputs just like an outboard mixer would.
