Have you heard of the ESP 1010 audio interface? Its looks similar in function to Layla3G with 2 mic preamp's and 6 balannced TRS inputs, 8 outputs, rack mount and PCI interface but no auto sensing mic/TRS input and no well recognized name I guess.

It can be had for $319 new w/warranty vs. $414 for Layla. The factory web site is below. I also cant tell if it uses WDM and ASIO drivers. Looks like korean made
