I am currently considering a new digital interface for recording. I am looking at several different products such as PreSonus and Tascam. The PreSonus unit I am looking at is Firewire based and the Tascam is USB. The PreSonus is nice in that you can keep adding units to increase capabilities. I usually think of Firewire as being Mac based, but I see that they have Firewire cards for PC laptops. Does anyone have any experience using Firewire on a PC, and how well does it work?
