Hey, I'm starting to record some of my own small projects at home. I've been searching around on craigslist for a while and I came across a Focusrite saffire and an m audio ultra, each for sale in various surrounding states.

I really don't know which one is better though, which one has better preamps or which will be more convenient. If it makes any difference, it's a laptop setup, Dell XPS 15something, 1 1394 firewire port, vista, and I'd be running either Tracktion or Reaper most likely. Heh, budgets.

Anyway, any advice would be really appreciated.
