ok so i want to have multiple options for recording guitar! because i believe sometimes repeting a performance and it's intensity is sometimes virtually impossible... so this way i want to mic amps and use different amps within my reach...

my band has a frontman and a hot rod deluxe, so we want to split the guitar signals to both amps and mic them different ways!
i'm thinking sm57 45º and center and an AKG c414 TL II to one of them!

i know about the littlelabs spliter and the radial...
but do you know any other?

is this boss pedal a splitter?

What you want is a whirlwind selector. It is simple one input goes to the "a" or "b" outputs or both outputs at the same time.

The LS-2 look like it is geared more for multiple effects loops but it looks like you can probably set it up as a splitter. Boss also makes the AB-2 two way selector however I am uncertain if it can send signal out of both o/ps at the same time.

thanks for the reply! i have two ab-2 because i use my rig includes a les paul and a strat deluxe going to my boss gt-6 and my hot rod deluxe! i use one to select which guitar and the other to select if i go from the gt6 to the amp or from the guitar straight to the amp (the gt-6 doesn't have a true bypass and i really love the sound of the tube with the guitar... this is almost lost going from the gt6)
but the ab-2 only lets me choose one!

and i've checked that site! and yes that's what i want! got to look if i can get that in europe!

anyone knows others?
