Okay i just got myself a M-Audio fast pro track usb cuz the sales man recomended me that for my RODE nt100 mic he told me i should get a good sound from the profast track, and i got it,for 200$ dollers its big money for me, okay . so i connected my rodemic into that thing, and when i record i get a good sound but it sounds like.. how should i explain? to fat/warm don't know how to tell really, so is there any way i can change it not to make it sound to warm or i got ript off? :-?

It is hard to describe sound, but I listened to your very brief clip and to my ears it definitely has an overloaded bass response a result of proximity effect.

You should move the sound source away from the mic, you will need to experiment exactly how far and possibly lower the gain (volume) that you are recording at. Proximity effect can be used as a technique, for example a female singer might benefit from being closer in adding more chest or bass to the voice, most male voices especially in your range probably need to be very careful of inducing it.
You can probably improve it somewhat with EQ but best to get the sound right before pressing the record button!

Seriously you think the tone is too warm? Most people are seeking that. Try different distances, especially slightly furter away, maybe you are talking about proximity effect, EQ might help especially subtractive.
