Ok. here is what I'm getting in order over the course of the next 2 years (I'm unemployed as of Friday so I'm broke). .let me know what you think.

1. Sytek MPX4-Aii 4 channel pre with the BB on 3&4
2. Sebatron VMP 2000e
3. API 3124

A little under $5000 for 10 channels that will each provide me with something special. Transparency, warmth, and one hell of a sound on a drum kit. What do you guys think? I think I know the answer...but I'd still like to hear if there are any other suggestions.

Maybe 2 API 4 channels and the Seb 2 channel? That would start getting into a price range that I'd never be able to re-coup with what I charge to record.
