Basically I have the following equipment:

a computer with a M-Audio soundcard (with breakout box),
M-audio midiman,
electric piano,
electric guitars,
electric bass,
microphones (with a powered microphone amplifier)

i have yet to purchase a mixer.

what is the most affordable mixer to buy and what setup should i use to record all live instruments to my computer?

i was thinking live instruments --> mixer -->soundcard (but I'm not sure about the mics...

any ideas?
