Are pentium Motherboards better with Digidesign?

If I get a pentium board, will I have to get a new case?

If I get a SCSI hard drive, will I have to get rid of my current IDE?

G'day Stone

At this stage the Athlons are out performing the pentiums, but that's not to say it will always be the case.

Check out this thread on the DUC. It's huge, so skip to the last page to get the latest info.

Your current case should be OK, but don't quote me on that ;) They're cheap as anyway.

Yes, you can run SCSI and IDE together.

I'm very happy with my Athlon XP 1800+ system. It's giving me nearly double the performance on the "davec test" that I was getting with my 933 MHz PIII, and it cost a bit less than I paid for that about a year ago. HIGHLY recommended!
