i'm running mac OS 9.1. there's 1024 RAM
(4 X 256's). Hard drive that it originally came with, plus an additional 60-gigger (has its own icon) and 80-gig external hard drive (lacie). don't think there's a CD-burner yet (relative neophyte here, eh). i'm moving over everything i know works that i want to keep to the external hard drive.

i was told by the prof here that m-audio and steinberg programs are cagey if not installed in a certain order & in a certain way. hmmm...

that fresh install idea sounds good. and making multiple partitions. nearly all of this sh*tz new to me, so, step-by-step guidance is uniquely appreciated.
