I just wanted to know if you have to use a Digidesign surface for Pro Tools or if i wanted to use say like a Mackie or onyx board or anything else for Pro Tools. and if so how would you hook that connection.
i never have, but ym guess is that yo could only hook it up via midi cables as a control surface, and hen you would prob only have the fades work in conjuctin with tthe software. i dont think those boards have midi though
