I am new to all this so I figured I would ask what all your work-flow is when creating music. Do you start with drums/rhythm, melody, etc. Thanks for your thoughts.
Start by coming up with an idea, and creating around it.
Maybe today you will come up with a great beat, and work out a melody to add to it; and tomorrow you could come up with a different tune and want to add four keyboard parts before adding drums.
