It comes down to action and sounds. Can you put up with the Roland action? I can't. But I must temper that again by saying I've been playing Yamaha's weighted and unweighted action for years. I cannot stand any other manufacturer's weighted action.
And, I'm pretty much the same with the sounds. I haven't played the current FP, but i played one of the first ones. I thought it was a good idea but I couldn't get with that "RD-ish" sound. Cool for Rock but I'm a Jazz guy. Although the P80 ain't perfect, the sound is nice and playable.
However, this is a preference. See if you can borrow or buy (with the intent to return one - rare in the MI market) both for a week and see which one works best.
