i'm trying to connect my Mackie onyx 800r to my digi003. i just bought both of these units last week. i've read the manual, and as far as i can tell, i'm connecting everything correctly. the Mackie says it's locked to the 003. i think my problem is the ADAT cable. i've never used one, so i don't know how to connect it exactly. when i try to plug it in, it won't go all the way...at least i think. i would think that it should snap into place, but it doesn't. i'm scared to try and force it into place. is that the problem? perhaps i bought the wrong cable? idk...please let me know what you think.

see when i try to make it sit flush, i feel like i have to force it in so hard that i'm gonna break something. when i look at the end of the cable, it looks like it should snap into place or something, but it won't snap on either the digi or the mackie. does that make you think that it's the cable?

thank you for the replies gentlemen. i finally got it to work. i went to guitar center and bought a new cable: the original one was a really cheap one, so figured that something was wrong with it. when i looked at the good one and looked back at the bad one, the plastic "snap" (for lack of a better word) that holds the cable in place was MUCH bigger than the other one, which surprised me since it was on both ends of the cable. now i have the newer one in place and am getting signal quite nicely.

thanks again fellas,
