Hi Silenzer, welcome to RO. It would be a good idea to add where you are from when asking electrical advice. The site you listed is in the UK, are you? Because voltages are different. No sense getting something that could cause big problems or needs further adapting.

Why would you want to keep throwing batteries at something if you didn't have to? I say seek out a phantom power source that you can plug into the wall and can always depend on to supply the juice you need. How bad are you going to feel when the battery dies while recording? And you suddenly realize you don't have a back up?

Siilenzer - You've had some good advice given already. If you are indeed in the UK the EMA-3 is a box that will get the job done for you. The EMA-2 you linked to is designed for a mini-XLR input, though I'd bet your condenser mic has a standard XLR connector. It's very important that you learn and understand all of the specs of your various pieces of gear so that things are always matched properly. Looks like the EMA-3 does come with a power supply, which will avoid the battery scenario Toot brought up. If you happen to be in the states you can find similar products at Sweetwater or Guitar Center that will do the same job for you. Good luck!
