Hi,

I'm trying to achieve this set-up http://www.submodern.com/slowburn/?p=608 that requires a 1/4" jack to 1/8" jack cable.

"...Hook the Kenton AUX 1 (CLOCK) to the CR-78 EXT CLOCK with a 1/8″ to 1/4″ patch cable."

Do they need to be mono or stereo ends? And can i achieve the same result using a standard 1/4" guitar cable with one of these on the end:
