Musicians don't plan to fail they fail to plan. If music is your source of income then have a band agreement that protects the members interest. Also have a buisnessplan then you have a direction to follow and know where you are going. The sbdc is at all major universities. Get the skills you need to suceed. If you are not a music college grad take a good look at most major universities courses they include music as well as buisness. So pick up some buisness books. Also be well rounded play in an original band a cover band a jazz band back up an elvis impersonator do session work and teach and you will never be hungry.
