I have a project sudio, I find this site very insightful and helpful (tips, tricks). What I have not found is audio to go along with the explaination of some equipment. (I am a sound guy, not a read guy). I would like all you newbe and pro engineers to post a snippet of dry to processed sounds to compare them and the settings and equipment you used to achive "that" sound. Could be as simple as a Bass riff dry then processed then an explaination of how you got "that" sound

rules; (from Pirates of the Caribbean "ARGG, there more like guidelines")

state the instrument
state the out gear (amp)
state the preamp (mixer type)
state the settings( this could be eq settings to plugin settings)
state the mixdown settings
WAV or MP3 only

Pro's did I miss something.

here is a example I got off of Digizine. They posted unprocessed then processed examples, very cool. This is very heplful to here other persons idea's of sound.
