Hello,
I've recorded 16 analog tracks with my 2 Travelers set up.
Everything went fine.
I plan to upgrade my system to 24 tracks.
So, I plan to buy a Berhinger ADA8000.
Here is how I plan to link them all :
Traveler #2 : master for WordClock
Traveler #1 : slave for WordClock
Is this set up correct?
Should I link Traveler #1 and ADA8000 with BNC for WordClock or ADAT would be enough to sync all the units together?
Please, let me know.
Thanks.
-Barnee.

try the extra wordclock loop to the ADA BUT generally I prefer

BUT generally
I prefer to let the Ai3 and the ADA8000 just slave via the send/return of the ADAT Lightpipe.
I feel that the Wavefront chips slave better that way.
others may disagree
potentially in more complex systems and with a higher class gear containing higher quality chips and PCB designs
the BNC wordclock could be better
Thanks for your post Kev. Others have opinions on this set up?

I have to try to sync the ADA to the TRaveler via WC 'cause I had some 'pops' (2-4 per hour max.).
Maybe it is the sync trouble.
I just have received my ADA. I will have to full test it soon.
