I recently bought a MXL 990 condenser mic to record with. When I record with Acid Pro 6, its not recording at an even panning level. More sound is recorded into the left speaker then the right speaker.
Has anyone else had this problem? or anyone know how to fix this?

I had that mic before. It is not a stereo mic. You can assign it to all kinds of tracks, but that won't make it stereo. It's mono.
Make sure you know exactly how your signal is being routed. This goes for anything -- hardware or software. I suspect you'll find it is doing exactly what it is set up for.
That MXL 990 wasn't a bad mic for the price. I learned a lot with it.

When selecting the track make sure you select a mono track. There should be no "left" or "right" channel selected for a mono track. Recording into a stereo track allows the pan to work within the stereo source, so in other words its impossible to make a left channel go right, get it?
How do you have it set up, in the DAW included. The only thing
How do you have it set up, in the DAW included. The only thing I can think of is that it is picking up more sound from the left side of the room than the right. Do you have it far enough from the sound source that sound levels will be balanced?
