hello:
i want to know if there is (or not) any problem in upgrading from PT LE 5.0 (w/digi 001) to PT LE 5.1 in a w & b G3 with OS 8.6 or is emperative, to run with no problems the 5.1, have instaled the OS 9.0?

P.D: my current system it is composed like this: w & b G3 350, PT LE 5.0 (w/digi 001), 192 MB, OS 8.6.

I am running PT 5.1 on OS 8.6 with no problems whatsoever. Earlier in the year I called Digi UK and asked them the same question that you are asking. Digi UK were at that time running all their 5.1 systems on OS 8.6 and were unaware that Digi US were only supporting OS 9.0 or 9.1.
In short you should have no problems running PT 5.1 on 8.6. The only downside is that Digi does not support 5.1 on 8.6 and therefore if you have any difficulties they may well refuse to provide technical support.
I went through this question in regard to the upgrade from PT5.0 TDM to PT5.1 TDM. However, I can't think of any reason why you should encounter a problem with the LE version.
