i want to record a semi acoustic guitar directly plugged in to the sound card, i can't do micing.
i do nt use guitars own eq so its values are set to zero accept for volume .
my sound interface is emu 1820m.
i recorded a rythm track on my computer (sequencer software Sonar 4) but i don't like the sound. i've recently installed Wavesbundle software that has so many plugins i don't know which one to start with.
i need some information what to used for recording it and after that what are the basic things required to eq it.

Your problem is a common one. Directly recorded guitars, whether electric or acoustic, seldom sound good without some kind of amplifier/speaker software emulator. Most guitars get half of their sound when combined with an amplifier. When you don't have the amplifier, you get what you hear now, which is crappy.

You have so many plug-ins but nowhere to go as I don't believe your plug-ins bundle has any guitar cabinet emulations? It has a ton of effects but not what you need. You might want to look into IK multimedia of Italy and their "Amplitube" software? Gives you the sound of most popular guitar amplifiers available. There is other similar software out there similar to that as well. That's what you need to get.
