Hi There,
Looking for some help on deciding what software & media would enable me to come out with the best recordings possible.
My set-up is: 2 Turnatbles going to a mixer, out of mixer to a M-Audio USB sound card, then USB to my laptop. This set-up is so i can record my mixes then burn onto CD.
So my question is:
1. What would the best Recording software be?
2. What would the best Burning software be?
3. What would the best 80min CDR be?

Steinberg Cubase or Nuendo for recording.
Nero for Burning.
Quantigy CDRs for media.
Pro Tools for recording :D CD Architect for burning :) Mitsu
Pro Tools for recording :D

I agree with Thomas on his cd selection Taiyo Yuden is the numbe

Are there any other examples of software made specifically audio cd burning? I’m interested in software titles that could bare the professional label?

If you have a Plextor Premium CD drive, then you can use Plextoo
If you have a Plextor Premium CD drive, then you can use Plextools as reliable software for getting wave files to CD. I have Samplitude, Plextor, Cakewalk Pyro, and Roxio Platinum. They all see some use.
