Hi There,
Looking for some help on deciding what software & media would enable me to come out with the best recordings possible.
My set-up is: 2 Turnatbles going to a mixer, out of mixer to a M-Audio USB sound card, then USB to my laptop. This set-up is so i can record my mixes then burn onto CD.
So my question is:
1. What would the best Recording software be?
2. What would the best Burning software be?
3. What would the best 80min CDR be?
Thanks For The Help

Wavelab for the burning
Plextor for the CD burner
Taiyo Yuden for the media
Thanks for all the different replies, excellent programs!
I Think I'll go with the Wavelab 5, and Taiyo Yuden

I agree with Thomas on his cd selection Taiyo Yuden is the number one manufacture of cdr media. This can be backed up by this site.

Thomas, I have learned much from your various previous posts it has been helpful.

"Best" is a VERY subjective term, but here is what I would use.

Steinberg Cubase or Nuendo for recording.
Nero for Burning.
Quantigy CDRs for media.
