Hello all,

I am in the early stages of thinking about a business plan/website where I offer giveaways. Customers would be entered for a chance to win these giveaways after making a purchase. (I am withholding what merchandise I am selling at this point, don't want anyone to take my idea! it is audio related, though).

Does anyone see a problem with this? I was thinking once a month I would give something away, for example a Studio Projects condensor, a pair of Sennheiser HD280's, etc, etc. I would randmonly draw winners by their email address that is entered during time of purchase.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I think this could be a good way to drive sales to my site.

Thanks!

Maybe every item they purchase should give them a chance. Because the sites out there now have giveaways that require no purchase at all. It's great advertising for them. But if you have every item over XXX$ gets you another entry, that would help to drive sales. Otherwise people would buy like 500 boxes of guitar picks. But in general, good customer service, cheap prices, fast shipping, and backing up the customer are the BEST way to establish a business. Remember Dell before they sold out?
