UPS should be delivering this to me tomorrow. I bought for the reputed stabilty with Cubase and the top shelf converters. I am counting on a significant upgrade from the M-Audio Quatro currently in service. The piece I am intrigued with is the total mix software. Anyone using this that could offer up some possibilities for its use? I don't know a lot about it.

Yep, its the HDSP. Was just lazy typing. Latency free monitoring would be enough all by itself. I picked up the optional balanced pig tail for it too.
I'm really hopeful that this card and the pair of 'Bricks' I bought are going to be a substantial upgrade to my recording chain.

I take it you bought the "HDSP 96/32"? If you just got the Hammerfall Lite "96/32", you will not have Totalmix. The "HDSP" prefix indicates the onboard Totalmix DSP.
You can use it for latency-free monitor mixes, as an ADAT patchbay (my favorite feature), as a matrix mixer, whatever! It is very flexible, and it is one of my favorite features of my Multiface + ADI-8 combo. Every output can be used as a submix of any or all chanels (hardware input chanels, and audio application playback channels, or any combination).
