Need some help please! If anyone uses a similar system:
I'm planning on using 2 Apple flatscreen displays for a Mac based Pro Tools system. The difference to the "norm" being that the computer is located in a central machine room, not in the control room.
The cable run between the displays and the computer is 32 feet.
If we were PC based I could use a Gefen system to achieve the remote connection, but as the Mac system is, of cause, different.
Any advice?

If the monitors are DVI (i.e. Digital) then you should have no trouble finding extension cables up to 10 meters. I have personally seen DVI run over much higher distances (up to 300 meters) but this required using Fiber optic cabling - way expensive.
