Hi everybody,

Recent lurker, first time poster! Does anybody have any experience with this guy here? Good or bad? How is the EQ? How much would you pay for one?

It seems like cheap clones of the neve 1073 x2 (at 799$ new)

Other popular ones are made from Warm audio and Golden age project.

If you really want something that sound close to a neve1073, I suggest you check Vintech 273 :

You'll save one rack space but gain top of the line preamps.

I would agree, it might be ok but ok would be about it. If you are looking to move into a quality pre along the Neve vain there are some very very good options aside from the real deal, but they are much more costly.
I personally like the 500 format and find a number of module that would fit the bill. Again it would be more of an up front layout money wise but I live the pay off.
