If you really want something that sound close to a neve1073, I suggest you check Vintech 273 :

I would agree, it might be ok but ok would be about it. If you are looking to move into a quality pre along the Neve vain there are some very very good options aside from the real deal, but they are much more costly.
I personally like the 500 format and find a number of module that would fit the bill. Again it would be more of an up front layout money wise but I live the pay off.

Thanks for the replies you guys, and I apologize for taking my sweet time with getting back to you. I ditched this guy and got a Great River ME-1NV untill I can get my hands on a nice dual pre.

Or buy another GreatRiver, they are very good... ;)
