Ummm...that depends on how Logic implements the code...in theory no, you should not hear anything change in any way...unless grouped it to a mono group track!

See if you can find a way to play the subgroup track adjacent to the original ungrouped tracks, while inverting one of the two. If there's no sound, they're identical. (f(x) - g(x) = 0 therefore f(x) == g(x) )

Falcon...I'll try to test it later on tonight....but I wanted to tell you that when I played one track through the bus it seems the same...however if there is couple (5 or more) that's where the sound started to get funky to my ears....it must be some sort of algorithm used there...the question is...does it degrade the sound in noticable way?

I don't use Logic, which is why I gave such a general test suggestion. ;)

If you can bounce the submix out of Logic, then maybe bounce the individual tracks out and try adding them in another program, that should provide a very good samples pair to perform the test on.
