Hey all.

Pretty much ready to put my head through a window!
I am in the market for a new interface, I want to upgrade from my current steinberg UR824.
I am thinking of purchasing the UA Apollo 16 with the UA 4-710d, as I already have 4 mic preamp's this would give me 8 all up, plus 4 hi-z and 4 inputs, tube and solid state blend function as well as compression on each channel. which is plenty and I can get a really good deal on UA gear.

The 4-710d seems like an amazing deal, but it is also a converter, and now I'm concerned that its overkill since the apollo 16 doesn't have ADAT in, if it did, this combo would be incredible as it would free up the 16 line is for expanding my outboard gear in the future.

I really suck at choosing gear, constantly second guess myself so any confirmation on my choice, or suggestions on an alternative would be appreciated.
