I'm in Seattle and would like to learn some of the finer points of mastering. I've mixed and mastered several records and a bunch of projects and have a good grasp of audio engineering, but I'd like to learn more about mastering from a pro.

If anyone can help me in the Seattle/Portland area, I'd really appreciate it - and pay for it. Because I know that mastering is pretty competitive in this town, I should say that my plan is to learn all I can and take my skills to a smaller town (potentially Portland, ME) and start a business up.

Hey John,

Maybe I can help you out. I have a home/project studio in Seattle, and mastering has been part of my "day job" for the past 10 years or so.

I'm more of an "audio philosopher" than a "technologist," more interested in sound than gear. But I know how to listen and I know how to teach, so if that's cool with you, give me a call.
