I know two drummers that have the May D112 installed and I've done FOH for both of them a few times. Overall it's pretty cool. The May system seems to work well on kick and is OK on toms for live stuff. In the studio I prefer to put mics up and not use the internal mics unless someone is really into them. It's the work of the devil on snare. Totally unusable IMHO but I know one guy who loves it on snare.
