Hi Cucco,
I just purchased the Sabra ST2 stereo bar. I read in an old post that you use this bar, but found a longer bar than that which comes standard with the Sabra.

Can you tell me where you found the longer bar?
For any that are interested in this bar, it is actually available at Samash for $29, $10 less than the price I've seen listed earlier posts.
Perhaps this question would be better as a PM, but I thought others may find the answer useful. Thanks!

I got my longer bars by going to my local machine shop. I brought the bar in for measurements (and it turned out to be a straight forward measurement - something like 3/4" perhaps??)
Then I just had them order me a 6 foot section. They cut it in to 2 1.5 foot sections and one 3 foot section. The whole thing cost me $20.
Though, you can also order them in various metals and lengths from http://www.smallparts.com.

PS - pick a relatively hard, non-resonant metal or you might have some ringing from time to time. In any case - a shockmount is recommended.
