Hi everyone, I have a question re Mac audio software..

I produce a few podcasts done in Second Life using thier somewhat dodgy voice client, and skype and talkshoe and things like this. The quality of the recorded audio can be less than stellar, as you can imagine..

So, I don't write songs, but I DO need to clean up and edit and work with somtimes LARGE (2hrs or more on occasion) group voice chats.

Is Logic express my best bet? Or something else?

Garageband can't handle the file lengths and does not seem to have enough power...

thx

Thanks. logic/logic express seemed very, very midi/music oriented to me, i didnt feel i would get my money's worth if you know what i mean..

i ended up with a choice of Peak, or Soundtrack pro as part of the FInal cut pro suite. I so nearly ended up with Peak, but in the end, as i do do some video/audio editing in iMovie and plan to do more in future i went with Final Cut Pro

Peak has a plugin for noise reduction which is supposed tobe very good though. It's a 'dst plugin', which im guessing i could use with Soundtrack right?

many thx..
