Roger Nichols is a very cool guy! If you are into PT, this is a great chance to learn some tips from one of the most prolific recording engineers and teachers around.

In the early 90's I attended a SPARS seminar in San Francisco, where Roger Nichols, John Storik and Roger Meyer set up a banquet room as a control room. Storik brought in a bunch of room treatments (mostly diffusers) and Meyer provided the computer tuned monitors. A 2", 24 track and a Soundcraft Saphire console were set up. They recorded and mixed band right there in front of the standing room only crowd. Hal Blaine played drums.. very cool.
