My home studio gets a makeover now that I'm in the digital realms of sound.

What kind of light is good for a (home) studio? Can you work with halogen or should I stick to the old fashioned bulbs?

I rather like the warm-tone of the plain old 120v tungsten lightbulb...

Put alot of fixtures in and "switch" them on/off as needed, don't put them on dimmers. Dimmers that make no(Or less) "noise" that gets into our recordings cost loads of money... loads! NOT "in stock" at the Home Depot... Stay away from those horrible "touch lamps"(Break into every house in your town, if possible, and smash same! All the audio freaks and "ham" radio operators will build a monument to you - and they'll send you a picture of it, as you, of course, will be in the slammer... It'll be worth it though!).
