I'm currently working on upgrading my studio and need some help on floor plan ideas that best suit the room and the acoustics in the room.
Below is 2 images one with the dimension in the empty room and the other is my initial idea. Let me know what you think would be the best use of this space.

My wife and I are moving into a new house. In the basement there's a spare room, that I want to turn into my new home studio.

Room size is approx. 236 sq ft/22 qm and 7.5 ft/2.27 m high.

Dear Forum, I have a home studio that I use for doing sound design for theatre, mixing acoustic theatre (theatrical installations and radio drama) and composing electro-acoustic music. I'm gradually diminishing the reverb in the room and I'd like some advice please on further steps I can take on a low budget (we renovated this house recently so I'm doing things slowly!).

I'm permitting a "garage" right now to put on my property. It will be 30x40 with a 10' plate and scissor trusses going up to about 12.5' at the peak. It will have my 72 Bronco it in and my tools etc, but I figure there should be enough space for a home studio too.
