RME Digiface vs. 9652 on windows 8 ?
Hi,
I have some problems with my Saffire56 and I think about having a backup alternative to record.
My important gear goes in ADAT
which one would be your choice

I'm actually debating on a new front end for now, damn fireface should have been in stock ohhh well, ok theirs the digimax, Mackie 800r, maudio octane, b-ringer ada8000 and few others on budget prices. Which of these deserve the shot, thanks.
Hi, beside the preamp presence on the Fireface, talking just about conversion and general use, what would you suggest between these two combinations ( on a pc) ?
1)Hdsp 9652 + Adi 8 ds
or
2)Fireface 800
?
thanks,
Luca
Hello. I just got my Fostex D2424LV sold, and will now put up a PC-based recording system. What I was planning to do is go with ADA8000 to an ADAT PCI soundcard, and expand with another ADA8000 or later switch to FireWire pre's.
I have the above interface in my pc and an ADAT...
how do I monitor recording and playback?
man this thing does everything I needed...with the ADAT i/o's
and midi...all the reviews I have read say these are the best audio interfaces for PC recording...if anyone is interested and needs one I got a killer price on mine and can get u one...
hi firends
I want to buy a new sound card for my studio. what do u think which one is more stable.
thanks
I am looking for a setup and found this on Ebay Australia. Is it reasonable value for a starter rig
1X RME HDSP9652
2X ADA8000 8 chan pre's with converters
1X pair M-Audio Bx5 monitors
1X sm pro audio headphone amp
Starting at $1800.00 AU I think thats about $800.00 US
Hi. I have a nuendo 9652 sound card. It only has S/PDIF out for monitoring. Can I use my Echo Gina card to Monitor my 9652 card.
Thanks,
Nippdog
I know there has been much said on their products, but I wondering about there new DIGI9652 card and their Octamic-D. How does it compare to others. Is there a better way to get good sounding microphone preamps and 36 channels of recording into a computer? Mind you this is for a mobile rig and is designed to be mixed down later.
