axiom

Picked up an M-Audio axiom 88 yesterday and I'm in love with it. The hammer actions keys feel amazing. They are so close to the feel of my actual piano. The pads aren't amazing but they do what you need them too. But the biggest perk is being able to control your daw with the faders and knobs on the Axiom, it really had helped with work flow.

I run Pro Tools M Powered at home and my interface is the M-Audio Mobile Pre which does not have a MIDI I/O so I'm looking at usb midi controllers but I can not find any that M-Audio says is compatible with M Powered. I really like the Axiom 25 cause of features for the price and I don't need much right now, but is it compatible with M Powered?

I have the MAudio Axiom 49 and it has all those knobs and faders which I wanted to know how exactly do I use them and how can I activate them on Apple GarageBand?



Also there are the buttons of "record" - "play" - "stop" etc..

How do I activate them also that it will work with GarageBand?

I have an Axiom 49 from M-Audio. Very nice product.

I was wondering if I could use a pair of drumsticks to hit the pads. I don't think really hit them hard...just enough to produce the sound i need. Will this make the pad ware out? or even make the pad malfunction? Any experiences? Any advices for the type of drumsticks to use?

I’m having problems trying to setup axiom 25 with nuendo 3.0. I get a midi incoming signal but I can’t hear any sound out of VST instruments.

Midi controller is working with reason 4 and Sonar 7.

Soundcard is Omega, axiom connected via USB cable to laptop.

Any help ? thanks

Which Would you rather work with on Reason 4.0,MPK 49 Alone or M-Audi Axiom 49 AND MPD 24?.

i just bought an axiom 49, but i cannot make it play on my mac. i have a digi 002 rack, but no midi cable, so i connected the keyboard with the usb cable to the computer.

what to do? can i play inside Pro Tools, logic and garage band like this?

i haven't installed the drivers that came with it, 'cause it says it isn't needed on the manual.

does anyone know if the m-audio axiom 49 controlling/transport area allows me to control Pro Tools LE in anyway? is it possible to do punch in or to use its tranport section? what about its faders/knobs?
