I have been trying to connect my rogers reel-to-reel tube amps to my setup.
I have done the following with no success -
AMEK Tac Sub Group 1 out into line in on the Rogers, line out on the rogers to my DAW.
Talk about soul.
I put on a Bill Haley and the Comets record the other day and it sounded GREAT!

How did those guys record?
One mic?…Four mics?….
Obviously complete tube signal path.Maybe 1” tape …. One track?
Anyone know?

Hey all! I finally decided to put the Rec/Repro cards back in the little Fostex 1/4" 8-track. Before anyone yells at me, it was free, m'kay!
Anyway, I need to calibrate the deck, but I'm not quite sure which trim pot I should start with. I've got my 1kHz tone on tape from another deck that was pretty close to calibrated (I realize this is a poor way to do it, but bear with me).
