I've recently had the opportunity to purchase both an Mbox 2 Pro and an Apogee Duet and Logic Studio. I wasn't sure what to use, so I bought both because they were good deals, and I plan to sell what I don't use. Everything should be arriving at the end of this month.

I am looking for an unbiased opinion from people who have used the Apogee Duet firewire interface.

What are the goods? what are the bads?

I was thinking about getting an Apogee Duet, since i'm going to use it with Mac and Logic Audio.

My current set up includes four preamps: two Api 512c thru a Dav Electronics Bg.no6 stereo compressor (with balanced outputs), a Joemeek VC1qs channelstrip (with balanced output) and an UA LA610 (with balanced output). As you can see all the preamps just have balanced outputs.

Does anyone on here own one?If so, what are your thoughts?I've heard good things and I'm planning on getting one.
