Hi everyone,
I am using a Behringer FCA202 interface to record various instruments into my PC via firewire. The PC is running Windows XP 32-bit. I am using a fully functional Behringer mixer as a preamp into the interface. The recording software I'm using is Audacity.
I seem to be experiencing an issue with my panning.
Hey everyone!
I'm recording in Sonar, now at 24/48, but some of my projects are now mixed 16 and 24bit in one project. When I export the final .wav mix, am I sacrificing quality by exporting to a 24bit file if some audio is originally recorded at 16bit?
What happens to the 16 bit audio, is it upsampled?
what does consolidate selection to the sound exactliy? what happens if I consolidate the same audio several times?
thanks for help

Hi,
Please lend your opinions/observations...
The question is--is it really possible to get the same digital audio integrity out of a properly set up PC or Mac DAW as out of a stand alone unit, like a Tascam DA-88?
Heya,
I've been shopping around looking at the stand-alone units, and I like the feel and layout of the VS1880. I've also been looking hard at the Yamaha AW-4416.
