Hi friends! Do you guys bounce your SD2/Wave 24 bit files at which setting: good / best / tweak head?

As faster dual processor computers have been on the market for a reasonable time and PT 6.x uses both processors, seems lots of people are preferring the tweak head setting.

Hey there guys...just a question about dithering and bouncing down from 24/48 or 16/48 to 16/44 during the mastering process. .what is dithering and should i play with the dithering programs in my logic and pro tools when bouncing down to final product. .or should i just let the Pro Tools/logic defined dithering do it's thing.

Bouncing to... FROZEN!

I have a really long (60 minutes) audio file in the form of 2 mono tracks in Digital Performer on my 600 mhz iBook in my 80 gig external HD. I want to bounce them to a single stereo track so I can then export it and burn it onto a disc. But every time I try to bounce to disc, the program freezes. Is it because to file is too long?

Hi folks. I posted a query re the quality of reverb- plugins on Julians forum.Greg thought it should be a Pro Tools topic and to post it here. Me, I'm just confused and want to be everybody's friend. I thought here would be good place to maybe try and follow up the stuff that relates specifically to Pro Tools, which is when all said and done, my own need.
