So I've seen a lot of studio spaces and researched a lot. Basically I'm remodelling an 35' x 25' unfinished room (looks like an unfinished basement but above ground) and building 3 rehearsal rooms.

Ok so I understand that many professional studios use big open wooden rooms to record drums in to get a more punchy sound. I happened to come across an article that said if you go out and buy plywood to put over the walls (and floor if there's carpet) that it will help achieve something close to that sound you can achieve in the professional studio.

hey guys, I'm about to start build a new home studio, and I'm willing to get a very professional "high-end " equipments to help me achieve a professional all around commercial material at the end.
I'm turning a 12'x20' room with 8' walls and a "barn type" ceiling that goes up to 10' into a recording / jam room. It is completely drywalled at this point. The room is separate from the main house. I would like advice on:
