I am in a conundrum over a good workflow for editing conference recordings. We do the
recordings live, on site at different conference centers, hotels and the like, and
have to edit them with a one day turnaround. I have Sound Forge 10 and its a full
GameSoundCon 2010 has announced their fall dates and locations.
GameSoundCon 2010 New York will be held Oct 2-3, 2010 at the Faculty House Center at Columbia University
GameSoundCon 2010 San Francisco will be held Nov 2-3, 2010 at Pyramind Studios

I have been asked to spec. a system for a conference with up to 500 delegates.
The conference is to be held next year and as yet they have not finalised the venue yet. Two venues have been shortlisted - a large'ish sports hall and the other an open hall with lots of metal gurders in the roof.
I doubt this is the type of work that most of you do, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips on Micing a press conference. It's easy enough to take care of the panel, but questions from the press have proven to be bit more difficult. I'm thinking about getting a couple of hanging mics (the kind that are used for choirs). The room is ours, so I can wire it however I want.

Just got back from vacation in Europe. It was great. I am taking part in the mastering forum at this weekends Tape Op conference in Portland Or. If any of you are planning on going let me know.
It should be a very good show. And the weather must be better than it is in NYC. I will give you guys a full report when I get back.

ive been searching the net for info on conference audio systems but zilch.
just wondering if any of u guys know somewhere i should b looking or even know urself.
I'm specifically after how systems are set up for conferences (both the "round the table type" and seminar "crowd seating" type).
