cool edit pro help
I'm using cool edit pro to record, and i just realized when i say words with hard "k" sounds, like "cool" or "cat", it sounds bad in the mic, does anyone know how to fix that?:mad:

I need to know how to compress my vocals. I hear that will cure my problem with certain parts of my vocals being too low and when I do amplify these parts it still isn't exact I need to compress them all to equal how do I do this using cool edit pro 2.0? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks for taking your time to read this!

I am trying to record a stereo track in cool edit pro from my Tascam US 122L. Since it has to mic inputs L and R whenever I change it allows me to record only one channel. how do I record stereo from L input or R. help
I just have cool edit pro, no racks and stands full of pro recording equipment and all thst stuff, is that enough to make pro sounding tracks.

I've been recording samples played in Fruity Loops Studio 5 (using a midi keyboard to set pitch) into Cool Edit Pro 2.1, but somewhere along the line I messed with the settings too much and CEP no longer picks up anything when I try to record. Could anyone tell me the settings I need for CEP/FL to record from one program into the other like this again?

I'm using cool edit pro 2.1 ro record. my friend and i use a program to develop the drums and beats and save to hard drive. we then bring the drum file up on cool edit and record various intruments over the drums with cool edit. we listen to what we've done at that point. it sounds great. we then save the session as "save session as".

I am using Cool Edit Pro and I need help with something. I recorded a guitar track first and then for the track 2 I want to be able to play track one through my headphones while I record a vocal track on track 2. When I try to record a vocal track, it plays the track one and that records over into the vocals track along with the singing.
